Introducing Our New Team Member!
Hello! I’m Becca. I am the new team member and the new Office Coordinator here at Kate Underwood HR and Training.
My main role as the new team member is to assist with the smooth running of the office and support the team however they need. With four years experience as an Administrator and five years as a Marketing Coordinator, I’m used to many departmental responsibilities like organising exhibitions, events and conferences, managing mail campaigns, marketing materials, web content management and developing & maintaining effective department filing systems which have (or will in the future) all come in handy. I’m also a mum to a little boy, so I definitely know a thing or two about how to be organised!
So far, as a new team member, I’m lucky that I’ve been able to focus my attention on some of my favourite things: copious amount of spreadsheets, new systems and intensively learning the ropes of BreatheHR so that I can support our clients and the team as much as possible. I have been thoroughly enjoying myself and these first few months have flown by.
I must say that due to the current global pandemic, I have had an unusual start as a new team member at KUHR, having only been able to work face-to-face with the team for a month or so before lockdown came into effect. However, I’m pleased to report I have seen the team work under extreme pressure to guarantee clients have all the pertinent and relevant information to ensure they look after their employees successfully during this time – we are lucky that we have such lovely clients who really look after their staff. Kate and her staff care so much about helping people and looking after not only their business and employees, but their physical and mental wellbeing, too.
As we are all now working remotely, Kate and Pete have been given some respite from my incessant questions although they are being subjected to my two children showing them their Lego creations most mornings still, so they can’t quite escape!
As I’m sure everyone else is, I am really looking forward to getting back to normal but if you are looking at working remotely for a while you should check our blog page for tips like our blog on Working From Home (and how to stay sane!) and there’s loads of advice from our guide to coronavirus and furloughing to what to do about coronvirus if you’re a small business owner.
If there’s anything I can assist you with, especially with regards to my new speciality; BreatheHR, please do not hesitate to contact me by email ([email protected]), I am available every day from 10am – 2pm so can ensure you get a response as soon as possible.
Thakns for reading, I’m excited to help Kate and her team help you.
In the meantime, please stay safe and I look forward to speaking to you soon!
